The Fall 2024 Citywide Conference for School and District Leadership Teams invites all representatives of NYCPS School and District Leadership Team constituent groups to an exciting and informative day of learning, collaboration, and relationship building to help create a safe and affirming educational environment and high-quality academic experience for all our students.
This year's conference "Collaborating to Ensure Bright Starts and Bold Futures for Our Students," will engage superintendents, principals, teachers, parent leaders, students, central and district office staff, community members, and partner organizations, in collective and differentiated learning opportunities and discussions focused on achievement of our mission to ensure that each student graduates on a pathway to a rewarding career and long-term economic security, equipped to be a positive force for change.
This year's program will feature exciting student performances, two sessions of interactive educational workshops, panel discussions, learning experiences, dynamic speakers, surprise guests, and special opportunities for conference participants.
This year's speakers are extraordinary experts in the field who have earned local, statewide and national recognition for their successful work, real-world experience, and expertise in engaging school communities and improving student outcomes.
Interactive workshops and panel discussions will address systemwide priorities and spotlight promising practices to promote academic excellence, social-emotional learning, family and community support, and other innovations that support all students. Earn SLT and CTLE credits!
Charter bus transportation (from each borough), translation/interpretation services, and limited childcare will be available for registered participants.
