About the Office of Business Development
The New York City Public Schools Office of Business Development (OBD), led by Dr. Tammy Pate, Deputy Chief Officer, is committed to identifying, engaging, strengthening, and increasing the utilization of Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (M/WBEs) across NYCPS and Central Offices, New York City Agencies and the private sector. We are working in support of the Mayor’s citywide goals of $25B in M/WBE contract spend by 2026 and $60B by 2030.
